Introducing the Paced App: My New Passion Project

Show Notes

In this first "Weekly Check-in," Rhonda gives a huge thank you for the incredible launch week and shares a look behind the scenes at her other big passion project: an app she's developing called Paced.

Learn the "why" behind the app, the simple philosophy of taking back "your time, at your pace," and how the journey of building it has been a real-life example of the very principles discussed on this podcast—setting big goals, breaking them down into systems, and learning to "bounce back faster" from inevitable "hiccups".

Rhonda: Welcome back to The Rhonda Lavoie Podcast. I'm so glad you're here. This is a show that's all about getting it done and keeping it real.

Rhonda: And I wanna start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has listened, shared, and sent messages about the new podcast. The response to the launch last week has been incredible, and I'm so grateful you're here on this journey with me. It feels so good to have this new version of the show just out in the world. It's been a long process of getting aligned and it feels great to be having these conversations.

Rhonda: So for these shorter check-in episodes, I wanna share a little bit about what I've been working on behind the scenes. As some of you may know, my other big Passion project right now is an app I'm developing called Paced. The idea for it really came from a problem that I know a lot of us struggle with. You know, that feeling of procrastination where you just feel drained of time and energy. Often we fall into habits like mindless scrolling that just make it worse.

Rhonda: My mission with Paced is to help people interrupt that pattern. The philosophy's pretty simple. It's about helping you take back your time at your pace. The app helps you break the scroll cycle and injects a new simple habit, starting with getting your steps in.

Rhonda: And the process of building the app so far has been a bit of a journey in itself. It's been a huge learning curve, and there have been plenty of moments of dealing with my own inner critic. It's a real life example of everything we talk about on this show. Setting up a goal, breaking it down into systems, and learning to bounce back faster from the inevitable hiccups along the way.

Rhonda: I'll be sharing more updates as I go, but if you're curious to see what I'm building, you can follow along at getpaced.app.

Rhonda: Next week we're diving into The Other Side of Fear: What if you actually succeed? You won't wanna miss it.
